Horne International Designs, Inc was founded in 1982 by C. Larry Horne, FASID after a decade of working as a designer with W and J Sloane, Inc. in Washington DC. With an international clientele which included kings, princes, US Cabinet Secretaries, Senators and Representatives, as well as Fortune 500 CEO's, Horne's design installations covered the globe.
Highly acclaimed for his accomplishments in historic preservation, Charles Larry Horne is recognized among his peers as a "designer's designer" whose aesthetic excellence, quality, and professionalism shine through in his designs. Horne has held a number of volunteer positions in the ASID Metro Chapter and with the ASID Foundation. Among the many awards given for his design and historic preservation projects, he was inducted into the Washington Design Center Hall of Fame in 2005 and received the Interior Design Medalist outstanding alumni award from Virginia Commonwealth University.
